Art Classes
In the art classes, art develops over a longer period and while looking at the technique of painting or drawing, the workshops are more intensive in the sense of technical knowledge and assisted "trial and error". The participants start to work on a sketch and they finish the workshop with a finished art product (by use of machinery that is provided at the workshop).
My children's art classes, inspire and stimulate the right side of the brain: drawing and painting with different colors; working with paper (punching, folding, colouring, cutting, tearing, sticking). There are many ways of perception, memory and implementation and we explore them all. The children are given plenty of freedom in choosing ways to express themselves.
In the Youngster and Adult Art Classes we pursue more attention to detail. By using unusual exercises, I train the artist in the perception of light, shade, colors and shapes. Drawing and painting of an arrangement by objects, catch the essence of your observation. To be able to do quick sketch, picture composition, colorbasics. The course builds up from sketching to painting. The last part will be a project of Linol prints in approx. 3 sessions.

In the Kid-Art Classes we explore drawing and painting from imagination, doing a leporello (booklet), working with unusual materials, experimental methods will be discovered. One 3-dimensional work (minimum of 3 sessions) will be included (clay or paper mache). Some art historical input will come beside, some examples will be shown and discussed. The objective of these exercises is to foster and stimulate the imagination of the children.

Workshops
Weekend Workshop
An intensive look at how a little sketch can create a print. The technical printing process is introduced and mediated. The result is either a small print or a series of prints. In addition to technology, the consciousness of an image composition, how it is divided, the proportions, the effect of depth as well as the use of color in the traditional sense is looked at in detail.

Advanced One Day Workshop
This workshop can be extended.
This one day workshop offers a short introduction into printing techniques. The composition is then worked out on only one sketch. After the transfer to a small copper plate is done first prints emerge. The drawing on the copper plate can then be corrected, further developed or changed at every additional print.

Print & Collage
Lino or wood printing and collage: objects, nature or create a textile design.
Drawing & Painting
Experimental drawing & painting (acrylic) of self-portrait using a mirror.
Collage & Drawing
A weekend of experimental (intuitive) drawing of nature and hands. Painting (Acrylic) and a collage of your own head and/or hands.
